District 4 - Commissioner Trey Goodwin


Robert A. “Trey” Goodwin III is an Okaloosa native who attended local schools and graduated from Choctawhatchee High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida in 2001, and his Juris Doctor degree from the Florida State University School of Law in 2005.

Trey is a partner at the law firm of Keefe, Anchors & Gordon, P.A., representing clients in the areas of real estate, construction and probate law.  Trey also gained significant experience in public service leadership as a member of the Fort Walton Beach City Council (2011 – 2014).

Commissioner Goodwin is liaison officer for the following committees:
Community: Fire Code Advisory Board and Board of Trustees of the Law Library, Okaloosa-Walton TPO, Career Source Okaloosa-Walton, Economic Development Council (EDC), Value Adjustment Board
County/Government: First Judicial Circuit, Tax Collector and Value Adjustment Board (alternate)
Trey lives in Fort Walton Beach with his wife, Krystle and their children, daughter Alexia and son Robert.He has been actively involved in our community having formerly served on the EDC Business Leadership Council of Okaloosa County.  Trey and his family worship at Shalimar United Methodist Church.
